# Upgrading

nTop releases an update approximately every two weeks. View the Release Notes to see what changes are coming in each release.

There are two methods to install new updates:

* Open nTop and select the "Software Update" button in the upper-right hand corner. When there is a new update, the icon turns orange, and "Update Available" appears.
* Go to the [nTop User Dashboard](app.ntopology.com) and log in. Select the download button on the main screen.
