# Isotropic Material

## About this Block

**What it does:** Defines an isotropic material using a list of provided isotropic material properties. The properties of isotropic materials behave the same in every direction.

**Common uses:**

* Simulation or analysis of an isotropic material.

**Tips:**

* Acceptable inputs include both physical and thermal properties.
