# Invalid Type

## Invalid input type

### About the error

**Issue:** A value with an incompatible type was placed into an input, preventing the block from running.

**Cause:**

* An unsupported block type was entered.

**Solution:**

* Input a supported unit type.

*Ex. ‘Radius’ requires a Scalar Field, but received a Mesh. Input a value with the correct type.*
