# How to change or reset your nTop password

## Objective:

Learn how to change or reset your nTop password.

## Applies to:

* ntop.com
* nTop login
* nTop Support login
* nTop Learn login

## Procedure:

You can change your password for security reasons or reset it if you forget it. Your nTop account password is required to access the software and online resources.

## Change your password:

1. 1. Sign on to your [nTop account](https://app.ntop.com/).
   2. Select **Settings** on the dashboard.
   3. Follow the prompts to select a new password.
   4. Click **Save Password**.

## Reset your password:

1. 1. Open the nTop website ([app.ntop.com](https://app.ntop.com)) or the nTop login screen, and select **Forgot Password**.
   2. Enter the email associated with your nTop account.
   3. Our system will send you an email with a reset link.

## If you don't get an email:

1. 1. Check your Spam or Bulk mail folders.
   2. Add [no-reply@ntop.com](mailto:no-reply@ntop.com) to your address book.

## What happens after you change your password:

If you change or reset your password, you'll be signed out everywhere except installs of nTop Platform using local license files to verify account status.
