# When I try to start nTop the error "OpenGL Context Creation Failed" occurs.

## Issue:

The following error message is displayed if nTop cannot recognize a valid graphics card.

## Applies to:

* NVIDIA Graphics Cards

## Cause:

Possible causes of this issue are:

* An unsupported Graphics Card
* Outdated Graphics Card drivers
* A mistake with NVIDIA Control Panel settings

## Solution:

1. Verify your Graphics card meets the [minimum system requirements](https://support.ntopology.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037004674).
2. Install a new copy of your graphics card driver or update your driver with the manufacturer's latest version.
3. For NVIDIA Graphics Cards be sure to enable [high-performance graphics card settings](https://support.ntopology.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043607974).
