# Where do nTop setup files download when automatically updating the software?

nTop frequently releases updates to the software. Where can I find the setup file after it's downloaded?

## Answer:

Setup files download to the Windows Temp directory. The update is named with a random string of characters. Contact [nTop Support](https://support.ntopology.com/hc/en-us/requests/new) if you need help. You can always download the software manually by signing-on to your account at [app.ntop.com](https://app.ntopology.com/) and selecting **Downloads**.
