## Question:

Can I split an implicit body along a plane?

## Answer:

Yes, to do this:

* * Add a **Plane from Normal** or a **Plane** block
    * You can also use a CAD Face, convert it into an Implicit Body (with no thickness) and use that to cut your Implicit Body.
    * Add a **Boolean Subtract** block
      * Set the Primary Body to your Implicit Body
      * Set the Secondary Body to the Plane

To change which side is cut off, flip the direction of the Plane.
