# Can lattice shell elements be exported as 3MF?

## Question:

Can lattice shell elements be exported as 3MF? I.E. a thickened "Rib Lattice from Beams"?

## Applies to:

* nTop
* Mesh export

## Answer:

No, 3MF currently only supports beam lattices, therefore shell elements can't be exported.
