# Why am I getting multiple bodies in my Topology Optimization Result?

## Issue:

I ran a Topology Optimization, but the result gives me multiple disjointed bodies. How do I get a solid body as the result?

## Applies to:

* Topology Optimization
* Optimization Objective

## Cause:

This is occurring because the Optimization Objective Goal is set to 'Maximize'

## Solution:

To get a single body, set the Optimization Object Goal to 'Minimize'.
