About nTop

nTop was founded in 2015 to give engineering teams a better way to explore the design space for complex, high-performance products. With nTop, engineers encode design intent as parametric workflows: parameters, constraints, and performance requirements expressed as executable logic rather than static geometry. Those workflows generate and evaluate thousands of configurations, connecting to existing simulation tools without manual preprocessing, and running across available compute without requiring an engineer to intervene at every step. At the core is implicit modeling, a geometry representation that is mathematically stable across the full design space. Parametric updates propagate without failures, Boolean operations succeed at scale, and models remain stable when parameters are pushed far from their starting point — which means workflows can run unattended, at the scale exploration actually demands. nTop is used across aerospace and defense, turbomachinery, marine, automotive, and industrial applications. It is designed to work alongside existing CAD, CAE, and PLM tools, connecting to the simulation environments and analysis pipelines engineering teams already depend on, and supporting the AI and agentic workflows increasingly being built on top of them.
