About this Block
What it does: A boundary condition that applies a temperature load to a thermal stress analysis. Common uses:- A boundary condition in a thermal stress analysis.
- We recommend running a Thermal Analysis first, then using the temperature property from that analysis as the input for the Applied Temperature Load.
- Use it with an Initial Temperature boundary condition.
- The thermal stress is calculated from the difference between the initial temperature and the applied temperature.
