About the error

Issue: The unit cell imported wasn’t cubic. Applies to:
  • Import Element Pro Rule
Cause:
  • An imported unit cell that isn’t cubic.
Solution:
  • Edit the unit cell in Element Pro to create a cubic unit cell.

Lattice rule is incompatible with mesh tessellation.

About the error Issue: The polyhedron built from the face is inconsistent with the lattice rule. Applies to:
  • Import Element Pro Rule
Cause:
  • The unit cell of the surface lattice rule cannot map to one or more faces on the mesh.
Solution:
  • If the lattice rule uses cubic unit cells, quadrangulate the mesh before generating the surface lattice.
  • Update the lattice rule to a cubic unit cell or a different one in case the lattice rule is custom or polyhedron type, as we can’t use it to generate a surface lattice.
