Question:

Can I make non-rounded lattice beams?

Applies to:

  • Lattices
  • Meshing
  • Export

Answer:

We currently don’t offer this in Implicit format, but you can create a mesh with non-rounded lattice beams. We recommend using the V2 of the Mesh from Implicit Body block to do this, with the Sharpen and Simplify option checked on. For example, if your lattice has 0.5 mm thickness and you set the tolerance to 0.5 mm, the result creates a hexagon shape instead of rounded edges. We don’t recommend using a tolerance larger than the lattice thickness, as you will lose too many details.
