Depending on what we want to texture our part with, there are a few ways we can generate a unit cell.

Implicits Generated within nTop

Using blocks in the Createand Modelingtab, we can generate an implicit geometry from scratch within nTop. For example, a Sphereblock could create a simple bump texture. Using the Regular Polygon and Loft Between Profilesblocks could make a hexagonal geometry.

Imported Geometry: Meshes and CAD Parts

Unit cells can also be generated outside of nTop to use within this workflow. Both CAD and mesh bodies can be imported and used.
